The R&D Lab - Curiosity in Action

Our commitment to professional development and continuous learning is fundamental to maintaining our high quality standards. Our team actively participates in mentorship programs, accountability teams, company-wide training sessions, and "lunch & learn" events. We also provide dedicated resources for certification paths.

The R&D Lab embodies our dedication to learning beyond client work. Every team member receives paid hours for professional development goals and can also utilize this time for special internal projects within The Lab.

Our Office

Located at 135 Mohawk Street in Cohoes, New York, our headquarters is a daily reminder of the region’s long legacy of progress. Built around 1874, this stunning Second Empire Victorian building originally belonged to William Moore, an innovative woolen textile pioneer and industrialist who played a major role in the area's manufacturing boom. After serving for decades as the Cohoes YWCA, this beautifully preserved space is now home to our team.

We see our office as the perfect intersection of history and future-focused technology. Just as William Moore drove the 19th-century industrial revolution from this very site, Troy Web Consulting uses this inspiring space to fuel 21st-century digital innovation, crafting custom software solutions that help our clients shape the future.

A Commitment to the Community

Our team participates in a variety of projects throughout our area that directly impact our community. Over the years we have volunteered as board members, hosted numerous events, mentored college students and worked hard to pay it forward to give back to the community that has given us so much.
